From Sanga Living / Sanga Retreats:
To live the Sanga life is to live life with balance and awareness. We tend to push ourselves too much whether it be at work, home, or nutrition, and only when the body and mind hits a breaking point, we stop and take notice. Sanga Living is about creating healthy habits in all avenues of life so one can avoid burning out and sacrificing the most important thing….wellbeing. ~ Jamie Wood
“Entering into any soothing or healing space, even when it's not a tropical paradise such as this, it is important to define your boundaries and freedoms. Arriving at Sanga Retreats held special meaning for me and my individuality was always held in high regard, having this instant trust provided me with a deep respect for the space. I still awake now at home 6 months later remembering the sounds of the birds in the mornings and especially the hummingbird who would visit the flowers right outside my window each day. What I took away from Sanga Reteats has thickened my connection to myself as well as how I respond to the outside world. Thank you for that.”

“Sanga Retreats first came into view with our host, Jamie Wood, leaning out from the gate looking for us. We felt very welcome and "received.” The name itself evokes a sense of tranquility, safety and reverence. It was very peaceful & we felt safe when we stayed in March. The only issue was that we didn't want to leave. The privacy of the pool/patio area, the beautiful decor and the warmth of our hosts were balm to weary bodies and spirits. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the stars and sun plentiful and birdsong a morning meditation.
Yoga sessions were designed to provide deep and abiding peace in a chaotic body & mind. Within 3 days I had returned to my true self, my Sat Nam - at least briefly. Our yoga practice is meant to be just that - a practice for real life, leading us ‘from the unreal to the real, from darkness to light and from the fear of death to the knowledge of our immortality.’
When we do this regularly, that is, every day, we will notice that we show up in a new way in our relationships, in our jobs and in the world. Sanga Retreats gave me a rejuvenation that allowed me to re-enter the chaos that is part of everyday life, with a measure of calm. Peace to all who enter that sacred space.
